Know the mold's condition Test mold performance under normal operation and measure the final molded parts. This tells you the current state of the mold and helps locate damage to cavities, cores, the cooling system and parting surfaces. Ejector and guide components These ensure the mold opens and closes and parts are ejected. If any of them seizes, production stops. Lubricate ejector pins and guide pillars regularly and inspect them for deformation and surface damage, replacing them promptly when needed. After each production run Apply mold rust-preventive oil to working surfaces, moving parts and guides. Pay particular attention to the spring strength of bearing parts in gear, unscrewing and spring-loaded molds. Clean the cooling channels. Scale, rust, sludge and algae narrow the channels over time, reducing heat exchange and raising production costs. Hot runner molds At the end of each production cycle, measure band heaters, cartridge heaters, heating probes and thermocouples. Replace any damaged parts, compare readings with the mold's history and keep records so problems are caught early. Surface care Mold surfaces directly affect part appearance, and rust prevention is the priority, so choose a suitable rust-preventive oil. Remove residues after production using copper rods, copper wire and mold cleaner, then dry the mold. Never use steel wire or steel rods, which scratch the surface. If corrosive materials have caused rust, grind and polish, apply rust-preventive oil and store the mold in a dry, cool, dust-free place.

Challenge A global electrical equipment manufacturer places strong emphasis on product quality and needed a supplier with documented quality control. Machine Taifu high-speed vertical rotary table machines (2016). Solution Core components are imported from Germany, Japan and Italy. Taifu engineers also provide free operation training, commissioning, maintenance and servicing. Result the customer placed the order and described the cooperation as saving it time, effort and cost.

Challenge A leading electronics contract manufacturer was looking for a supplier with the production capacity and installation expertise to deliver a batch of C-frame vertical machines. Machine Taifu C-frame vertical injection molding machines (2017). Result After delivery, the customer reported that it was satisfied with the machines and would continue to work with Taifu.

Challenge A phone-component manufacturer's project manager was looking for an experienced vertical machine manufacturer able to deliver a batch of rotary machines on time. Machine Taifu vertical rotary table injection molding machines (2018). Solution After finding Taifu online and reviewing its more than ten years of machine-building experience, the customer signed the contract and production was scheduled immediately. Result The batch of rotary machines was delivered to the customer on time, with quality maintained.

On 13 January 2019, a customer in Jiangsu ordered nine small vertical injection molding machines: two V2-15, one V2-20 and six V4-25. The machines were scheduled to ship on 20 January, shortly before the Spring Festival holiday. Despite the cold, wet weather, every department — engineering, production, machining, assembly, quality and shipping — worked extra hours, with each station completing its work before handing over to the next. Two days before shipment, the customer asked for a safety door to be added to one of the machines. We accepted the request, although the parts warehouse had no safety door in stock for that model so close to the holiday. Our purchasing team worked with the supplier, who agreed to make and deliver the safety door the day before their own holiday began. Thanks to the whole team's commitment, all machines were delivered to the customer's site on schedule.

Vertical injection molding machines are widely used in automotive, electronics and medical manufacturing. Here is how they differ from horizontal machines. Automation through the mold. Conveyor or strip-feed systems can easily pass through the middle of the mold, making automated production straightforward. Consistent flow and mold temperature. The vertical layout helps keep resin flow and mold temperature distribution uniform. Insert molding. With the mold face pointing up, inserts are easy to place and stay in position. On machines with a fixed lower platen and moving upper platen, combining a conveyor with a robot allows fully automatic insert molding. (Modern horizontal machines can also insert-mold well, so the gap here has narrowed.) Open clamping area. The clamp is usually open on all sides, making it easy to add automation for complex, delicate parts. Table options. Rotary tables, sliding tables and tilting tables make insert molding and in-mold assembly easier. Low-cost trial runs. For small-batch trials, molds are simple, inexpensive and quick to mount and remove. Long-term accuracy. The mold weight rests on the horizontal platen, so there is none of the forward sagging caused by mold weight on horizontal machines. This helps preserve machine and mold accuracy over time.

Challenge A customer from Algeria ordered a custom vertical injection molding machine and visited Taifu to check progress and approve it for shipment. Machine Taifu custom vertical injection molding machine (2016). Solution Accompanied by Taifu's general manager and export team, the customer toured the gantry machining center (accuracy ±0.02 mm), the quality inspection center — where every machine is checked from incoming material through production to shipment — and the assembly department, where his machine had already been assembled and commissioned. Result The customer operated the machine himself, loaded an insert and molded a part successfully, then approved the machine for shipment, which was arranged the same day.
